Quotes
JOKER: O-Kay, Chaz. When Harley knocks on the door three times
you open it.
CHARLIE: And. . . ?
JOKER: That's it.
CHARLIE: Wait. . . That's the favor? You called me here just to open a
door?
JOKER: Well, look at the size of that cake, man! She can't open the door
and push it in all by herself! Think!
--
HARLEY: (clears throat) Here's to Gotham's Commissioner G. You lock up
the weirdos, the crooks and the geeks. You're a hero to all the boys in
blue, but this time, baby, the joke's on you.
--
JOKER: Ye-es! Another stunning Joker entrance leaves the crowd
speechless! Let's hear it for him, folks!
HARLEY: Yeah! Woo woo woo woo woo! Yeah! Whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop!
Gee, tough audience.
JOKER: Comm-m-m-m-m-missioner! I'm here to present you with a small
token of affection from me and all the guys doing 25 to life!
Harley affixes a bomb to the Commissioner. She kisses him on each cheek
in congratulations.
JOKER: Wear it in good health, all remaining 59 seconds of it! Toodles!
--
JOKER: Guess I'll need a new hobby now that ol' Charlie's. . .
Joker makes a cutting throat gesture with his hand.
JOKER: thwppt!
HARLEY: Macrame's nice. Review: Such a great episode from top to bottom. A twisted Joker tale, and a smart one, too. The best moment is when Joker
makes his 'grand entrance' out of the cake and into the club. It seems
fitting for the Joker's warped insanity.
I'm going to really nitpick here because there is not much that's bad with the episode save for the acceptable animation. The fight in the 'temple' at the end seemed tacked on, something just to
throw some action into an otherwise fight-less episode.
The animation problems made a few things seem a bit
off, especially when something was going into, or coming out of, the
distance. Joker's face was incorrect at times and seemed too clownish
with too many wrinkles. Just not the best quality sadly but still a great episode.
