Quotes
NIGHTWING: What are you doing here?
BATGIRL: Pre-dawn. . . The dockyards. . . Where else would a person in a mask be?
NIGHTWING: This is my gig. If I'd need you I would have called.
--
NIGHTWING: If you'll excuse me. . .
NIGHTWING RAISES HIS ARMS, REVEALING HIS GLIDER WINGS, AND LEAPS OVER THE SIDE.
BATGIRL (to Batman): You're the one who raised him.
--
A THUG RUNS AROUND THE CORNER, ESCAPING NIGHTWING. HE THEN RUNS SMACK INTO BATMAN. BATMAN MERELY STANDS THERE WITH HIS ARMS FOLDED LOOKING STRAIGHT AHEAD. THE THUG PAUSES, AND THEN SLOWLY BEGINS TO RUN AWAY. NIGHTWING RUNS UP TO BATMAN.
BATMAN: He's all yours.
--
NIGHTWING: I told you I didn't need--
CATWOMAN: A gift.
CATWOMAN BLOWS NIGHTWING A KISS THEN FLIPS AWAY.
THUG: Mmmhpphummnmmphhumnhrm.
NIGHTWING: You said it.
--
BATMAN: Not bad.
NIGHTWING: Yeah, for a guy your age.
--
EL GANCHO: The great Batman has met his match, no?
BATMAN: No.

Review: An interesting episode, but not all that exciting until the ending. Most of it seems out of character for Nightwing, but it was all explained for later. Still, it was a slower episode.

The animation and drawing was excellent though, with superb characters keeping their form at all times. The fighting and action was amazing. One especially good scene is where Catwoman and Nightwing jump off a building, through a glass roof, and into a pool. The characters coming from afar to past the camera were consistent and seemed as if they were really jumping and falling.

There was a little more blood and gruesome scenes for a Saturday morning cartoon, with Batman being slashed by El Gancho, and finally El Gancho getting his steel hook hand ripped from his body. This episode is not one for the little kids.
