What can I say about this episode…it was funny, full of action, and
yet…I wasn’t completely satisfied with it. The story itself was a bit
“eh”, but the way Leslie turned into Livewire was almost believable…but
there was still the bit of lameness to the whole thing.
One of the ups about the episode though, was the construction worker who
was agreeing with Leslie’s hatred for Superman (apparently Superman was
too “nice” and helped too many people), and then his crane broke, and
sent him falling down. Naturally, Superman saved him, sort of making the
man eat his words.
Back on topic of Livewire herself for a second, her whole plan was to
suck the city of electricity, and kill Superman in the process. Superman
later decided to use rubber gloves to aid him in his taking out
Livewire—after all, even if you’re the man of steel, thousands of volts
still hurt you.
Their really wasn’t much to say about this episode. It was your basic
new-villain-gets-taken-down style episode, but at least it did it with a
new villain, allowing us to see more of her in the future.
